I’m planning a NYC-area hop for a small team on a turboprop and our flight plan shows “KFRG.” I *think* that’s Republic Airport in Farmingdale (Long Island), but I want to be 100% sure before I lock cars and meeting times. Use case: GA arrival, meetings scattered across Nassau and Suffolk counties, and a maybe-we-pop-into-Manhattan-if-time-allows contingency. I’m looking for a clean reference that (1) confirms “KFRG = Republic Airport,” (2) gives a quick orientation to its location relative to the city and Long Island, and (3) helps me decide when FRG beats the pain of JFK/LGA for short-turn GA trips.
